FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 31, 2024

Vancouver, B.C. – As June marks Filipino Heritage Month, Mabuhay House Society is proud to announce a series of engaging events and initiatives aimed at celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Filipino Canadian community in British Columbia. With a focus on fostering community engagement and preserving Filipino traditions, Mabuhay House Society invites everyone to participate in this month-long celebration that honours the Filipino legacy.

Official B.C. Provincial Filipino Cultural Centre Vision Survey Launch

A cornerstone of this celebration is the launch of the provincial Filipino cultural centre Vision survey, designed to gather insights and perspectives from the Filipino Canadian community across British Columbia. This survey aims to capture the diverse cultural experiences and aspirations of Filipino Canadians living in the province and provide valuable insights into the development of the provincial Filipino cultural centre in B.C.

“The community’s dedication to preserving and promoting Filipino culture has led to some truly remarkable achievements, culminating in the launch of the BC provincial Filipino culture center Vision survey—a testament to the tireless efforts of our community. From the vibrant Bayanihan Provincial Filipino Culture Vision Survey event to the joyous festivities at the Flag Raising and the Pinoy Festival, each event is a testament to the vibrant spirit and rich cultural heritage of the Filipino community here in British Columbia. We are one step closer to making the provincial Filipino cultural centre in B.C. a reality.”
